Pause & notice meditation

Hatha yoga allows for time to pause and notice how our bodies are feeling as we hold the poses. Our first meditation is a basic sitting meditation that encourages you to notice what’s happening in the body and mind. Once you’re finished, spend a few minutes reflecting on the following prompts:

  • Where do I place my attention?
  • Where in my life can I listen and notice more?

Winter is traditionally known as a season of rest and reflection. We also know it as the time when we make resolutions and set goals. I hope the time you spend connecting to your body, in meditation, and reflecting will support you as we enter this season.
